Kayla's session was an absolute DREAM. She is seriously one of the coolest people ever (and she's absolutely gorgeous). I wish I could photograph her everyday. When I was asking her what she wanted out of her session, she automatically told me she wanted some golden hour goodness. We met up at one of my favorite fields after watching the forecast all day. Kayla trusted me when I told her it would be better to go ahead and try and shoot as long as there wasn't thunder. It wasn't raining, but I was so nervous the sun wouldn't put on a show for us. WOW did Mother Nature come through. After a few minutes of clouds, the sun appeared and gave us some of the prettiest light. We played one of Kayla's favorite playlists (that was so good I saved to listen to myself) and just enjoyed ourselves. After a few classic shots, I suggested we try some more untraditional poses and Kayla was so ready. We got some amazing shots and I felt like I was directing a creative shoot rather than a senior session. We crawled through grass chasing the sun, got bit by bugs, and had so much fun. Wishing Kayla the best senior year (despite all the weirdness right now)!
